[FKA NeckLeather Shop]

Last week I travelled to Montana for opening weekend of hunting season. The wild sage on our hunting grounds extends to the far reaches of our land, and it's smell welcomes me home every time. This latest return to my homeland inspired me to change the name of the art I've so lovingly created.

In the winter of 2016, I started making chokers out of my mom's leather scraps with my dad's old leather tools.

Now, I've learned so much more. I harvest, clean, and process our elk and deer hides to create these unique and wild adornments... adventuring far beyond just chokers, or jewelry in general.

NeckLeather Co. is now and forever more
reborn as Leather Sage Co:
- Specializing in a variety of beaded leather adornments, from instrument straps to tattoo aprons, from jewelry to patches.
- Always continuing to grow, explore, and expand.

Thank you all for celebrating this with me!

In honoring your support and this transition, I wrote something to mark this moment that magnifies the new chosen name.

This Sage Is Ancient:

This sage is
four feet
taller than
the first time
I broke off
thin branches
to burn.
Now it's
become a
songwriter
of licorice-like
comforts,
letting Life
walk over
its roots
and under
its growth,
while humming
faint duets
with the wind.
This sage is
an elder
of the last
mountain top,
forever healing
my far-away
heart, bound
by softness
for home.
