DESCRIPTION
Picasso Jasper on cognac deer leather. I picked up this huge, gorgeous jasper from a retired bolo maker, who sold me all of his remaining cabochons back in 2023. It’s a dynamic piece, with an incredible matrix of colors weaving through the entire stone. The jasper is set in sterling silver, which is stamped with texture, and then stitched to the leather.
The long fringe below the snap is hand cut from the same hide, and hangs with beautiful movement. The middle layer of fringe is a natural blonde deer leather, which is braided into the cognac layer and really brightens the details in the jasper stone.
There is a spring snap hidden underneath the jasper for easy on and off..
MATERIALS:
Picasso Jasper, sterling silver, and ethically harvested deer leather. The bolo secures with a solid brass S-spring snap, braids are finished with sterling silver wire, and fringe attaches with nickel plated rivets.
