Day 1 - "Stillness"
Day 1 - "Stillness"
Fringe Earrings
“Stillness” beaded detailing on natural deer leather. Hand cut double sided fringe is thick, flowing, and incredibly lightweight.
This design is one-of-a-kind and will not be replicated.
Directly inspired by Kelsey Overstreet’s painting, “Stillness”, these earrings encompass the theme of Embodiment. When we allow the space to be fully present in our own bodies, we are finally able to catch up to ourselves. This stillness can be challenging, but is absolutely essential — especially in this year of Quarantine.
In Kelsey’s own words:
Stillness is playing with a personal image I get when meditating. When my eyes are closed I often see three light beams that are moving like water. I merged the fluid water movements with the frozen beams to encourage stillness.
These gorgeous and collaborative earrings are crafted from sustainably sourced whitetail deer hide, which will develop a beautiful patina over time from the oils of your skin.
Earrings are finished with sterling silver french earring hooks.
.75” wide x 6” long
Harvested in Montana; Handcrafted in San Diego.

CARE GUIDE
Leather is innately strong and long lasting. However, to keep your leather item in it’s best condition please store in a cool, dry place. Keep away from hair products. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and remove before bathing or swimming, as this will strip leather of it’s natural oils.
P.S.
Items may vary slightly — as each item is handmade with unique beads/leather/materials.
These slight variations and handcrafted flaws are an emblem of the “handmade” quality. Each piece is crafted with high quality materials and made to last when treated with care. Colors may appear slightly different due to coloring and brightness of screens, etc. Leather may have discoloration, textures, or marks that occur naturally in the harvesting process. All sales are final.
